Wireless Transmitters and Receivers 1/3

Wireless Transmitter Receiver

Introduction to wireless transmitter receiver:

Wireless transmitter receiver is a modern type of communication device which requires no physical media to transmit the data or information over a long distance.Basically there are two types of communication.First one is wire line communication and the next one is wireless communication.wire line communication includes the use of cables, copper wires,co-axial cables etc.in wireless transmitter receiver communication the data or the information is sent over the air medium.

About Wireless Transmitter Receiver Device

Wireless transmitter receiver is a combination of two devices namely wireless transmitter and wireless receiver.wireless transmitter receiver can be called as transceiver.the word 'transceiver' means transmitter and receiver.this system can also be called as duplexer.an antenna is a best example for wireless transmitter receiver.an antenna can both transmit and receive the signals.FM radio is a best example of wireless transmitter receiver.wireless transmitter receiver adopts a technique called as modulation to transmit the information.Basically there are three types of modulation.amplitude modulation, frequency modulation and phase modulation. In these techniques either amplitude, frequency or phase of a wave is used to incorporate information.A type of modulation that wireless transmitter receiver adopts is shown below.
             Modulated wave
the following picture illustrate about wireless transmitter receiver.

The wireless transmitter receiver consists of transmitter and receiver as shown.transmitter consists of input device(microphone),amplifier and transmitting antenna. The receiver part consists of receiving antenna, receiving amplifier and output device like loud speaker. There exist air interface between transmitting and receiving antenna.the information is sent by the transmitting antenna using one of the modulation technique and the information which is in air is received by the receiver using the demodulation(reverse of modulation) of the same technique which was used for modulation.
usually wireless transmitter receiver uses frequency modulation and following are the range of frequency used for the modulation.
radio frequency bands

Uses of Wireless Transmitter Receiver

Numerous number of applications involving the transfer of information over a long distance with good accuracy uses wireless transmitter receiver.there will be no loss in information if the modulation and demodulation is good.one of the main advantage is that no physical media is required to transfer information.
